A few years ago I decided to do two things: climb Mt. Rainier, and finally start the bookkeeping practice I'd been thinking about for so long. On that climb my guide said something that has stuck with me ever since: mountaineering is uncomfortable. He was right. But the discomfort was worth it. I know numbers can feel uncomfortable for a lot of people, and I am ready to be the partner and guide who will help make it a little easier by making sure you have reliable financial information so you can make the next right decision for your church, nonprofit, or business.
My first career is as a Presbyterian pastor. I know what it's like to sit in a meeting and wonder about the reports in front of me, to care about a mission and pray that the finances can support it, and to want the books to be handled with the same care as everything else you steward. That's where our name comes from: we do things "decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40).
Today I work with service-based businesses and nonprofits. I am particularly honored to work with PC(USA) churches and Mid Councils to create the nimble, connectional systems that will sustain us in the seasons to come.
